PhD Student Position in Performance Engineering for Modern Cloud Systems
Position Description
This position focuses on building efficient, intelligent, and reliable infrastructures for modern containerized and serverless platforms.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Background in cloud computing, distributed systems, or performance engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and Linux environment.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with distributed data processing tools (e.g., Flink, Kafka, Spark) is a plus.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills within a team environment.

Graduate Research Assistant in System Research

Volunteer (Remote) Research Intern
Position Description
This position is to conduct research project related to cloud computing, distributed systems, or data analytics. The intern will assist with literature review, hands-on implementation, and data analysis tasks under the guidance of a faculty mentor. This role is suitable for students seeking research experience and potential future publication opportunities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Interested in cloud computing, distributed systems, or system performance research.
- Basic programming experience in Python, Java, or C++ and Linux environment.
